ลักษณะโปรแกรม: สามารถเริ่มเรียนได้ควบคู่กับการเรียนในระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย (ม.4-6) และเทียบโอนหน่วยกิตไปยังปริญญาตรีปีที่ 2 ได้ในมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำประเทศอเมริกา สามารถจบป.ตรีเพียง 3 ปี

ข้อดี : น้องๆสามารถเก็บหน่วยกิตล่วงหน้าก่อนเข้าเรียนปริญญาตรี สามารถเตรียมปรับพื้นฐานก่อนเข้ามหาวิทยาลัย เพิ่มพูนประสบการณ์ความรู้นอกห้องเรียน และได้รับ student ID Card

What is DEC?

The Dual Enrollment Consortium (DEC) is a group of US universities (Richard Bland College of William and Mary, Lakeland University, Virginia Wesleyan University) which provide accredited bachelor’s degree university programs to Thai Matayom 4-6 / Grade10-12 students. DEC was founded by the Richard Bland College of William and Mary, Virginia Wesleyan University, and Lakeland University. DEC is headquartered on the Virginia Wesleyan University (VWU) campus, Virginia Beach, USA.

Lakeland University is a bachelor’s and master’s degree-granting liberal arts institution related to the United Church of Christ with nearly 2,500+ students enrolled across 24 countries. This international institute offers more than 30 majors, including bachelor’s degrees in Food Safety and Quality, Graphic Design, and Management Information Systems. Lakeland University has 7 centers around the state of Wisconsin, and an international campus in Tokyo, Japan. In addition, students in Thailand can earn educational credits and can then transfer those credits to a bachelor’s degree program via the DEC Program Asia.

Dr. Stephen Sim, Ph.D., is appointed as a part of the university leadership team as Senior Advisor to the President for International Affairs.

VWU facilitates special admissions agreements with graduate schools at Duke University, the University of Virginia and several medical schools.

The first year of these programs is completed in parallel to the students’ formal school studies via synchronous live-streamed tuition during evenings and weekends by DEC’s universities members’ faculty lecturers. Hence, saving one whole year and the expense of one year’s onsite campus costs. The remaining years are completed on campus in the US. VWU is recognized by U.S. News & World Report in three categories of its 2022 Best Colleges guide, ranked among the top 30 in “Ethnic Diversity” among liberal arts institutions, featured as a Best National Liberal Arts College, and named a Top Performer on Social Mobility.

The William & Mary College is ranked as one of the 10 best public universities in the U.S. by “U.S. News Best Colleges” in 2022.

The William and Mary College is a public research university located in Virginia, USA. The college was established in 1693, and this year marks its 329th anniversary. The college was established by letters patent issued by King William III and Queen Mary II of England. It is the second oldest university in the United States, and it is the 9th oldest among English-speaking universities in the world. Three of William and Mary’s alumni were former presidents of the United States of America.

The Richard Bland College (RBC) is named after Virginian statesman Richard Bland. It was established in 1960 by the Virginia General Assembly as a branch of the College of William and Mary and was once under the umbrella of “the Colleges of William and Mary”. Though self-functioning, Richard Bland College is governed by the William and Mary’s Board of Visitors.

RBC has guaranteed transfer agreements with four-year colleges and universities across the USA which will provide Asian students a range of bachelor’s degree opportunities.
