University of the West of England (UWE) ตั้งอยู่ที่เมือง Bristol ทางตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ของประเทศอังกฤษ ห่างจากลอนดอนประมาณ 1ชั่วโมง 30 นาทีโดยรถไฟ และเป็นเมืองที่ได้รับเลือกให้เป็นเมืองที่น่าอยู่ที่สุดในประเทศอังกฤษสำหรับความสุขและความมั่งคั่ง หรือที่เรียกว่า Green City และ Wealth & Happiness เนื่องจาก Bristol มีอัตราการว่างงานต่ำ ผู้คนเป็นมิตร เมืองนี้เป็นเมืองที่ไม่เงียบเหงา มีการจัดเทศกาลตลอดทั้งปี รวมไปถึง Balloon Festival ที่สวยงาม  นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นเมืองใหญ่เป็นอันดับสองรองลงมาจาก London อีกด้วย และบริษัทชั้นนำระดับโลก เช่น Hewlett-Packard, Airbus, British Aerospace, Rolls-Royce เป็นต้น

          University of the West of England UWE เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยอันดับที่ 7 ของประเทศอังกฤษที่นักศึกษาได้รับการจ้างงานหลังจากจบการศึกษาหรือศึกษาต่อภายใน 6 เดือน และยังเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐบาลที่ ก.พ. รับรองอีกด้วย มีหลักสูตรการเรียนเฉพาะที่น่าสนใจ และยังขึ้นชื่อในเรื่องผลงานวิจัยด้วย มหาวิทยาลัยมีบริเวณใหญ่และกว้างขวาง ที่พักของมหาวิทยาลัยมีให้เลือกมากมาย และสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกต่าง ๆ ครบครัน

          สำหรับหลักสูตรที่น่าสนใจ คือ Business, Engineering รถยนต์ (ความเร็วสูง), การบิน (Air Bus) และสาขา Robotics โดยสาขาต่าง ๆ เหล่านี้ถูกจัดให้เป็นอันดับ 1 ของประเทศอังกฤษอีกด้วย โดยสามารถใช้ห้อง Lab ร่วมกับ University of Bristol ที่ Frenchay Campus มหาวิทยาลัยมีอุปกรณ์และสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกที่มีประสิทธิภาพ ห้องสมุดเปิดให้บริการ 24 ชั่วโมง

          นอกจากนี้ที่ Business School ยังมีโปรแกรม Bristol Distinguished Executive Address Series ซึ่งเป็นการจัดสัมมนาทางธุรกิจ โดยจะให้นักศึกษามีโอกาสได้เข้าร่วมฟังคำบรรยายและพูดคุยกับนักธุรกิจในเมือง Bristol และจากเมืองใกล้เคียงอีกด้วย ทั้งนี้นักศึกษาสามารถแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองและความคิดกับนักธุรกิจ ซึ่งจะเป็นการเปิดโลกกว้างทางธุรกิจให้กับนักเรียน โดยไม่มีค่าใช้จ่ายอีกด้วย
