Capilano University ก่อตั้งในปี 1968  เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยรัฐบาลที่ตั้งอยู่ North Vancouver ห่างจากใจกลาง Vancouver  30 นาทีและชายหายเพียง 10 นาที Campus หลักตั้งอยู่ท่ามกลางธรรมชาติ มีบรรยากาศที่เอื้อต่อการเรียนการสอน มีจำนวนนักศึกษาเพียง 25คนต่อ1 ห้องเรียน ปัจจุบันมีนักศึกษามากกว่า 80 ประเทศทั่วโลก

English for Academic Purposes (EAP)
สำหรับผู้สมัครที่ผลภาษาต่ำกว่ากำหนด เรามีโปรแกรม EAP ที่จะช่วยพัฒนาภาษาแบบเข้มข้น  ระยะเวลาเรียนจะขึ้นอยู่ผล IELTS หรือ TOEFL ของแต่ละคน เช่น IELTS 5.5 overall  จะต้องเรียนทั้งหมด 2 เทอม และต้องสอบผ่านตามเกณฑ์ที่กำหนด
