มหาวิทยาลัย University of Wollongong เป็น มหาวิทยาลัย ชั้นนำ ของ รัฐบาลออสเตรเลีย ตั้งอยู่บนเชิงเขา เมือง วูลลองกอง รัฐนิวเซาท์เวลส์ ห่างจาก เมืองซิดนีย์ไม่มาก ปัจจุบันเป็น มหาวิทยาลัยที่ทันสมัย มีชื่อเสียงทางด้านการวิจัย และ การเรียนการสอน ในระดับสูง ปัจจุบันมีนักศึกษาทั้งหมดประมาณ 22,000 คน ในจำนวนนี้ ประกอบด้วย นักศึกษา นานาชาติ ประมาณ 3,600 คน จาก 70 ประเทศทั่วโลก รวมนักศึกษาไทย นอกจากนี้มหาวิทยาลัยยังเปิด ศูนย์ภาษา อังกฤษ เตรียมความพร้อม ให้แก่นักศึกษาต่างชาติ เพื่อเพิ่มความมั่นใจและ เข้าใจก่อนเข้าสู่ระบบการเรียนจริง
